Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley is set to host the Lanark Jobs Fair in the Lanark Memorial Hall, next Friday, the 3rd of November, between 11am and 2pm.
Following on from successful employment events in Carluke and Hamilton, the local MP is set to host her third Jobs Fair in two years.
27 employers have confirmed their attendance from across all sectors.
Commenting on the event, Angela said:
“I am passionate about helping my constituents fulfil their ambitions – be it in through work or training.
“That’s why I’m delighted to be in a position to host my third Jobs Fair since my first election, this time in Lanark.
“Too many people find themselves unemployed or underemployed through no fault of their own.
“My jobs fair will bring professionals from across a variety sectors, including vacancies within the public sector, retail as well as third sector charities to Lanark. It will be a fantastic opportunity for people to meet employers and apply for vacant posts.
“It’s shaping up to be an exciting day and I hope hundreds of my constituents can make it along”
