The event will provide local community groups access to funding information for community projects.
It will also provide an opportunity for groups to discuss their ideas with potential funders and collect a range of information about possible sources of additional revenue.
The event will also offer the groups an opportunity to meet and work together.
The venue of the event is still to be confirmed.
Commenting, Angela said:
“Many community groups and organisations throughout my constituency undertake fantastic work, creating social mobility and tackling isolation. However many are limited by resources.
“Often the copious amounts of paperwork are daunting and the wrong information can stop an application in its tracks.
“That’s why I decided to organise an event that will bring funders and community groups together, removing the barriers and giving organisations a better chance to expand their fantastic work.
“I am in the early stage of organising the event, so if you would like to take part in any capacity, please get in touch.”
